ABC's newest report explores the question: How important is our environment in living a healthy life?

The Alliance for a Better Community (ABC) released its latest report entitled
Places, Spaces and People: How
the Urban Environment Impacts Health
, which explores the nexus between health, urban planning, and public policy.
In mid-October ABC released its latest report entitled
Places, Spaces and People: How the Urban
Enviorment Impacts Health
, which explores the nexus between health, urban planning, and public policy.
This report is the culmination of ABC's efforts in the Boyle Heights and East LA Community Health Assessment.
The assessment worked with local residents and stakeholders to identify key health concerns in the community,
and develop strategic policy solutions to improve the quality of life for local residents. A webinar will be
hosted on October 27th, 2010 from 11am-12pm to further discuss the report, its findings and how the community
can work together to advocate for change. Please click
