Alliance for a Better Community has partnered with the Academic Leadership Class (ALC) at Miguel Contreras Learning Center with the Vamos A JUGAR leadership course. This summer ABC will work alongside students to develop a curriculum that will empower students to engage community members, their peers, and teachers to increase access to safe open spaces within their school. Students will lead the initiative for the promotion of a healthier community by developing an exciting physical activity and recreation program, and partnering with local organizations to increase shared use at ALC.
